The agreement between you and Adacares when you browse adacares.com, place an order, or use one of our wearable wellness devices.

Welcome to Adacares. By using our website, buying a product, or reaching out to our customer care team, you agree to the terms below. If anything here doesn't sit right with you, please stop using the site and write to us at info@adacares.com — we are happy to assist.

Who can use the site

When you use adacares.com you confirm that you've reached the age of majority where you live — that's 18 in most provinces, and 19 in British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon. Younger shoppers are welcome, but only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

Please give us accurate details at checkout and during any conversations with our team. False or misleading information may lead to a cancelled order or a suspended account.

What we sell

Adacares makes wearable wellness and massage devices designed to help you relax, move easier, and recover better. Our products are intended for personal wellness only and are not medical devices unless a product page tells you otherwise.

Nothing on this website is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a promise of a particular outcome. Everyone's body is different, so individual results will vary.

Health and safety

Please check in with a qualified healthcare professional before using a wearable wellness product if any of the following apply to you:

  • You're pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker or insulin pump.
  • You live with a cardiovascular, circulatory, or heart condition.
  • You have sensitive skin, open wounds, or recent injuries.
  • You have any other diagnosed condition that could be affected by heat, vibration, or compression.

We can't accept responsibility for injury, irritation, burns, allergic reactions, or other complications that come from improper use, overuse, ignoring the instructions, modifying the product, or using it against medical advice. Buying and wearing an Adacares product means you accept responsibility for using it safely and as directed.

Pricing, currency and taxes

Every price on the site is shown in U.S. dollars (USD). Any applicable state and local sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address, so the total you confirm is the total you pay — no surprises after the fact.

Prices, discounts, shipping rates, promotions, and stock can change without notice. If a typo or pricing error sneaks through and affects your order, we'll get in touch before we process it.

Placing an order

Submitting an order is an offer to buy, not a binding contract. We may decline, limit, or cancel any order — for example because of:

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorised activity.
  • Stock limits or a discontinued product.
  • A failed payment authorisation.
  • A pricing or typographical error.
  • Shipping restrictions for certain regions.
  • Duplicate or unusual order patterns.

Order confirmation emails let you know we received your order, but acceptance only happens once it's dispatched. If we cancel after taking payment, you'll see a full refund on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

Cancelling an order

Need to cancel? Email info@adacares.com with your order number within 24 hours of placing it and we'll do our best to catch it before it ships. Once a parcel leaves our warehouse it can't be cancelled — at that point the returns process in section nine takes over.

How payment works

Payments are handled by trusted partners including Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. By paying you confirm that:

  • You're the cardholder or have permission to use the payment method.
  • The billing details you've shared are accurate.
  • You have the funds or credit available to complete the purchase.

We don't store full card numbers on our servers. Payment data is encrypted and processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers. We can't be responsible for security incidents that happen on those third-party platforms.

Shipping and delivery

We currently ship within the United States only — no international orders for now.

Free shipping

Every order ships free with no minimum spend. Any applicable U.S. sales tax is included in the product price.

Order cutoff

Orders placed before 5:00 PM ET on a business day are processed the same day. Anything later starts the next business day.

Processing

Allow 1–2 business days for confirmation, quality checks, and packing.

Transit

Once dispatched, expect 5–10 business days depending on where you are in the United States.

In total, plan on roughly 6 to 12 business days from the moment you order. Remote and rural addresses can take a little longer.

We ship with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL — we choose the carrier that makes the most sense for your address and order size. Once a parcel is handed to the carrier and a tracking number is issued, the risk of loss or damage transfers to you. Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order; we can't cover failed deliveries caused by an incorrect address.

If something goes missing in transit, email info@adacares.com and we'll work with the carrier to track it down.

Returns and refunds

Our full return policy lives at adacares.com/returns and is part of these terms. The short version:

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Anything later, unfortunately, we can't accept.

To qualify, the product must be:

  • In original, unused, unworn condition.
  • Returned with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
  • Free from damage, excessive wear, or signs of misuse.

For hygiene reasons, we can't take back items that have been worn, used or activated, products missing original packaging, items damaged by misuse or modification, or sale and clearance items unless they arrived defective.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return, and typically appear on your original payment method within 10 business days after that. Return shipping is on you unless the item arrived defective or we shipped the wrong thing — in which case we'll send a prepaid label. To start a return, email info@adacares.com with your order number and a quick note on why.

Defective or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or just plain wrong, email info@adacares.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a couple of photos. We'll sort it out with a replacement, store credit, or a full refund — at no cost to you.

Privacy

Your privacy matters. How we collect, use, and protect your information is laid out in our Privacy Policy. By using the site you agree to the practices described there, including our use of cookies and analytics.

We follow applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other state-level data protection statutes that may apply to you.

What you can't do on the site

Please don't use adacares.com to:

  • Break U.S. federal, state, or local law.
  • Upload or transmit malware or harmful code.
  • Try to access our systems, servers, or databases without authorisation.
  • Copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
  • Run bots or scrapers against the site.
  • Engage in fraud or anything deceptive.
  • Pretend to be someone you're not.

We can suspend or permanently revoke your access if any of the above happens, and we don't have to warn you first.

No warranty

Our products and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind — express or implied — to the maximum extent allowed by U.S. law. We don't promise that every product will suit every body, that the website will always be up and bug-free, or that everyone will see identical results.

None of this affects the rights you already have under U.S. federal and state consumer protection legislation, which may give you extra remedies.

Intellectual property

Our branding, logos, product photography, page layouts, videos, copy, and marketing materials belong to Adacares and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property law. None of it can be copied, republished, edited, or sold without written permission from us. Unauthorised use may lead to legal action.

Reviews and content you share

When you send in a review, testimonial, photo, video, or social tag mentioning Adacares, you give us a royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, and irrevocable licence to use, display, edit, reproduce, and publish that content for marketing across any channel.

You also confirm that whatever you share:

  • Is honest and reflects your real experience.
  • Doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
  • Isn't unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory.

We reserve the right to remove anything that crosses those lines or that we feel isn't appropriate.

Third-party links and services

You'll come across links to other platforms — payment processors, analytics tools, ad networks, and social media. Those links are there for convenience, but we don't control what happens on the other side. Their privacy practices, content, and security are their own. Click through at your own discretion and read their terms before you do.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by U.S. law, Adacares — along with our owners, affiliates, directors, employees, suppliers, contractors, and partners — won't be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
  • Injuries from misuse or ignoring product instructions.
  • Shipping delays, interruptions, or unavailability.
  • Temporary or permanent site downtime or data loss.

Our total liability to any one customer will never be more than what they paid for the product or service the claim is about.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation — U.S. law doesn't allow those to be excluded.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Adacares — along with our affiliates, directors, contractors, employees, and suppliers — from any claims, damages, losses, expenses, or legal fees that come from:

  • Misusing our products or website.
  • Breaking these terms or applicable law.
  • Infringing on someone else's rights.
  • Giving us inaccurate or misleading information.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and the federal laws of the United States that apply there. Any dispute about Adacares, this website, our products, or these terms falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

Before anything formal, please write to us at info@adacares.com — we'd much rather sort things out directly and in good faith.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. New versions take effect the moment they're published on adacares.com, and the "Last updated" date at the top will tell you when the most recent change happened. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms, so it's worth checking back every now and again.

Severability

If any part of these terms turns out to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part is treated as removed and the rest stays fully in effect.

The whole agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Adacares about your use of the website and our services. They replace anything we may have agreed or said before.
